New English File and New Headway
The New Headway and the New English File language course books are published by
Oxford University Press and are each composed of various levels tailored to English language students and also to English language teachers.
NEF and NHW offer the most complete language course for all levels of students, from absolute beginners to intermediate all the way to the advanced proficient level.
The great thing about these course books is that they are available worldwide in most good bookshops, and even can be bought cheaply on Ebay, or ordered online.
So if you get a new student in who is based in Brazil and you are based in the UK, then both you and the student can get the books easily and do lessons via Skype.
The New English File course books
The course books of the New English File series are:
• New English File Beginner
• New English File Elementary
• New English File Pre-Intermediate
• New English File Intermediate
• New English File Upper Intermediate

Each of these course levels include:
Student's book, Workbook, Class Audio
The teacher does not need to have all the course levels books to start with, but only those that are required to teach the level of your students. After you get more students whose English is at different levels, you will slowly add each course book to your English language teaching library and will probably end up owning all of them.
And if just a few hours of teaching one student will pay for one of the above NEF course books [ student's and workbook and class audio] then this is the best investment you can make.
The students use the student's book and workbook for their level of English, and the teacher also has the student's book, workbook, and also the class audio cd's which are for the student's book.
That is all both the student and teacher need.
